It's the season of falling leaves and quiet change. For Isabella Martin, it feels like everything she's built is slipping out of reach.
A sudden injury halts her ballroom dance career and sends her to a new city to stay with family, far from the life she knows. As she struggles to figure out what comes next, she meets Austin, a driven hockey player for the Carolina Bears. Their connection is instant, easy, and impossible to ignore. The only problem is that Isabella never meant to stay.
Then someone from her past reappears, pulling her into a fake relationship that quickly starts to feel natural and real. What was supposed to be simple becomes anything but, leaving Isabella torn between the life she thought she wanted and the one she never saw coming.
With two demanding careers and uncertain futures, holding on to each other might not be realistic. Still, neither of them can quite let go.
Some things are meant to last only a season, while others are meant to last forever.
