Surrounded by hostiles, Wolfe is facing terrible odds. Then the rifle-round hits
SAS veteran Gabriel Wolfe is deep inside militia-controlled territory in Mozambique. His mission? To retrieve and repatriate the mortal remains of his special forces buddy Smudge Smith.
Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Gabriel is flame-haired Swedish sniper Britta Falskog. But when machete-wielding militia arrive, headed by the fearsome Mama Chissano, things take a terrifying turn for the worse.
As he begins to uncover the truth about Smudge's death, Gabriel sees that his adversaries have spun a web of betrayal that stretches right back to his last, fateful mission in the SAS.
Gabriel has marched headlong into the heart of a corrupt web of land deals, blood diamonds and the global arms trade. At the centre of the web sits a powerful figure Gabriel will need every ounce of his skills and resolve to defeat.
And if that weren’t enough, Gabriel and Britta are being tracked by a mysterious female assassin who seems to know their every move before they do.
