What if we've missed the most wonderful truth about salvation?
That you and I were created to live at home with God. Not just in some far future heavenly world. But right now.
You and I are invited to live at home with God in Christ Jesus. This invitation is called "union with Christ." And it is one of the most unbelievable and overlooked realities of Christian salvation.
In this book, Kyle Worley (pastor, author, and host of the "Knowing Faith Podcast") guides readers along the story of Scripture to help them understand that this invitation into life with God in Christ is not only a key part of the Bible's entire message, but also, the primary belief of Christian salvation. In Home with God, you will discover how the Christian's union with Christ creates a new me, a new we, and a new way of living in and living out God's story. Wisdom is found in knowing God and knowing ourselves.
Home with God: An Invitation into Union with Christ is a simple and engaging introduction to this wonderful truth. With discussion questions at the end of each chapter for reflection, it is a great resource for both individual reflection and small group discussion. Kyle Worley is a pastor at Mosaic Church in Richardson, TX. He is the producer and host of the Knowing Faith Podcast with Jen Wilkin and JT English which reaches millions of listeners each year. He is the author of the forthcoming book Home with God and one of the founders of Training the Church. Kyle lives with his wife and children in Richardson, TX.
