The use of Nursery Rhyme songs throughout history were most often used as an educational tool to teach children about past events. Today, the historical events that gave rise to many nursery rhymes are long forgotten…but the heritage of these rhymes and songs endure and are passed down from generation to generation. Singing these songs with your children will help preserve this tradition for the enjoyment present and future generations.
