Second chances are as good as any spell, and she's not passing this one up. Gales Haven is a small town hidden from the rest of the world. For centuries, it's been a refuge for those with magic. It's where witches and wizards can let their eccentricities hang loose. Years after leaving home, Marla is coming back with her tail tucked between her legs. Her two teenage children are sparking with their emerging powers, and as the only dud in a family of remarkable mages, she can't help them. When Marla returns, her family welcomes her with open arms. Her grandmother and three aunts are wild, loud-mouthed, and brazen. They're also powerhouses not to be messed with. No matter what, family always has your back. Finally, Marla is where she belongs. And when her first love is possibly interested in picking up where they left off, even when she disappeared without a forwarding address, well, Marla only wishes she came back sooner. Even when the trouble starts, and the spell that has protected the town all these years goes on the fritz, there's nowhere Marla would rather be. That is, until she starts hearing a little hedgehog sassing her, anyhow... * Perfect Pending is a humorous Paranormal Women's Fiction fantasy. If you love snarky stories with women so empowered they're a force to be reckoned with, then you'll love the Witches of Gales Haven series.
