When their rescue helicopter never arrives, two scientists stranded in Antarctica discover that survival may be the least of their fears. Narrated by acclaimed actor and bestselling author Luke Arnold, whose immersive performance brings the suspense, atmosphere and emotional depth of this haunting Antarctic thriller vividly to life
Biologist Mitchell has dedicated his life to science, environmental preservation and the growing antinatalist movement. Each year he joins his colleague Frances in Antarctica, where they are completing the Anarctos Project-a secret seed vault designed to protect Earth's biodiversity from humanity's accelerating destruction.
But when their helicopter fails to arrive and communication with the outside world breaks down, everything begins to unravel.
Stranded on the frozen continent with winter closing in, Mitchell and Frances face a terrifying reality: if they cannot reach McMurdo Station before the last flight departs, they will be trapped together through months of darkness and isolation. As strange events disturb their carefully ordered existence, Mitchell is forced to confront buried secrets, painful betrayals and unsettling questions about legacy, responsibility and survival.
As the ice tightens its grip, reason gives way to suspicion, and the fault lines in their utopian experiment begin to crack.
Atmospheric, thought-provoking and unbearably suspenseful, Seed is a gripping climate thriller about isolation, obsession, love and what remains when faith in science is no longer enough.
