Lloyd Boyd is taking a shower when God calls on him to become a personal preacher, but the under-achieving Lloyd is not entirely sure what that entails. After he drops off business cards at his local grocery store, bus stop, and gas station, he starts getting calls! Soon, Lloyd is inundated with requests, including one from Selma, who wants her husband to rediscover faith, and Miss Minerva and Miss Flossie, who are tempted to sell their church for $5 million. Though he has doubts about his call from God, Lloyd stumbles and bumbles through his new role as a personal preacher, and his unconventional style somehow manages to get through to people who were convinced all hope was lost. A comedy about keeping the faith, I Flunked Sunday School reminds you that God does indeed have a plan for everyone's lives, even Lloyd Boyd's.
