After foiling the machinations of a card playing automaton, Holmes and Moriarty discover the source of its manufacture... the business empire of one Alfred Nobel, now deceased. It can be no coincidence then that Nobel's widow, Lady Li Mei, is in town for some strange dealings at the same time the unfortunate Dr Jeckyll has had his formula stolen by mysterious masked men!
