Mimi is a beautiful Husky dog. She likes to do what all dogs do best. Mimi barks and she sits, jumps and she digs. She sniffs and she howls, runs and licks! However, Mimi's family do not always appreciate her doglike behavior. One day, they move away and leave Mimi behind. "A Home at Last" follows Mimi as she journeys through the desert in search of a loving forever home.
Young readers will enjoy reading action words as they follow Mimi's journey, while learning about common dog traits. This book is perfect for teaching children about adopting and taking care of a pet for the first time.
