A Kickstarter's Guide to Kickstarter will give you a thorough understanding of the site, its functionality, practical usage, audience, and strategy. If you've never put together a campaign before or are having trouble getting traction then it will provide a framework to help you navigate the vague world of crowd-sourced funding. More than tips and tricks, it highlights several aspects of running a successful campaign that are often overlooked. The book is based on Nelson de Witt's experience from three campaigns, several interviews, blog posts, and observations of over 100 projects. Instead of just relying on personal experience, de Witt looked at what many other people did to hit their goals. The book contains insights from some of the most successful projects such as Capture Clip, C-Loop, The Glif and more. A Kickstarter's Guide to Kickstarter provides a thoughtful analysis of the site and what the average person can expect when using the site. While there is no formula that can guarantee success, this book will help you take a step back and get the most out of your Kickstarter experience.
