How do we know there is air all around us if we can't see it? Is it possible for air to make something move? Does air have a smell or a taste? What kinds of things are in air? Can air be hot or cold? And why is air so important to people, animals, and plants? Using everyday, easy-to-find items, young students will get the chance to be real-life scientists and carry out step-by-step experiments to answer these and other intriguing questions. As they do so, these young scientists will be observing, recording their observations, and drawing conclusions. Each book in this series includes at least seven experiments with detailed, age-appropriate instructions, great facts and background information, a conclusions section to pull all the concepts investigated in the book together, and a glossary of science words. Colorful, dynamic designs and images truly put the FUN into FUN-damental Experiments!
