Have you ever thought to yourself, “Am I the only one who wonders if cats really do have nine lives,” but never had the nerve to ask someone if they thought the same things? Or have you ever felt like the only person in the world or in your class who felt scared but were ashamed because you would be made fun of if you were the only one. At one point in our lives, we have all had the same feelings or will have a similar experience. We are more alike than different. Just begin to ask others, “Am I the only one,” and listen to what they say. You might be in for a big surprise to discover that you are not the only one! And if you are the only one that's OK too!
