It didn't take long for the sparks to fly between A.J. and Kathryn, two professionals who met by chance in a high-rise elevator. Their attraction to each other grew even stronger once they were given the opportunity to work together on a high-stakes legal case. Enter Ross, a last-minute addition to their elevator ride that morning, who immediately and aggressively set his sights on Kathryn, although she wasn't at all interested and soundly rejected him. His obsession becomes so great that he will stop at nothing to win her over, including kidnapping and, if necessary...murder! But Ross also has a dark secret that he's desperate to conceal, and A.J. and Kathryn have no idea that the case they're working on is leading them into a life-threatening confrontation...with Ross! A high-stakes corporate merger, a loss of over $8 million in an executive embezzlement scheme of revenge, and a race against time to save a kidnapping victim before she's murdered. Romance, intrigue, threats, lies, and an explosive climax! At First Glance has it all!
