About
In this first story in the Child Finder Trilogy, Major Patrick O'Donnell, an Air Force Special Agent assigned to the Pentagon, begins experiencing haunting nightmares about children who have been abducted and murdered-before their bodies are found. It quickly becomes apparent that he has a special psychic gift that the government is all too eager to exploit.
He is drawn into a Top Secret black world community overseen by the FBI that leverages his skills to solve child abductions. Soon Pat discovers that this black world has an even darker underbelly when those close to him begin to die mysteriously.
Pat is Irish-Catholic, and he must draw upon his faith and values to sustain and guide him as he faces tough ethical decisions, challenges to his marriage, and the very real threat of harm to his own children... all because of his work.
The Story Continues in The Child Finder Trilogy...
Agent Pat O'Donnell's adventures are not over yet! Be sure to follow his story as suspense builds in the forthcoming second and third novels in the trilogy, Child Finder: Resurrection and Child Finder: Revelation... coming Fall 2009.
Rescuing abducted children is a noble pursuit, but it comes at great cost. Pat must battle dark, murderous forces within his own trusted inner circle, as well as unimaginable evil that threatens his family. Before his journey ends Agent O'Donnell will learn explosive government information that will rock his understanding of life, the universe, and his own faith.
Perhaps some secrets are best kept hidden...
Colonel Michael "Mike" Angley, USAF (ret) enjoyed a rewarding 25-year career as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI). He is a seasoned criminal investigator and a counterintelligence and counterterrorism specialist. He received extensive training in Undercover Operations and Informant Management, and early in his career performed undercover work for the Air Force. Mike explains how this background has shaped his writing:
"Child Finder gets its inspiration from my life's experiences. In particular, every single crime I investigated involving child victims literally broke my heart. The Child Finder Trilogy in some respects has given me an outlet to express that emotion, while weaving a few intriguing suspense tales along the way!"
