Compost

Grief and loss, unique to no one, are the
experiences that shaped words into being in
"Compost; making fertile ground". Adrift, save
for her trust in a power greater than herself, the
author speaks of what she's learning, feeling, and
what's changing, as she confronts a life suddenly
void of anything familiar. It's a dark time, and
lonely, in the grand tradition of a hero's journey.
Shifts in perspective, large and small, are revealed,
and, in that liminal time, she finds a new voice
and the courage to share it with the world.
