Conversations We Never Had is a collection of poems written in the shape of dialogue, the words spoken only in memory, never aloud. These pieces capture the very human experience of imagining conversations with a lover after they are gone: the arguments we finally win, the confessions we never made, the tenderness that lingers even after silence.
Through wit, vulnerability, and sharp honesty, Jodie Armour gives voice to the one sided conversations we all carry in the aftermath of love. The poems are intimate and unflinching, moving between humor and heartbreak, memory and invention.
For readers drawn to poetry of love and loss, breakup and memory, and the ache of unspoken words, this chapbook offers a mirror of what it means to long, to remember, and to reimagine what was left unsaid.
