Fred Kern is a life-long lover of ragtime music, and his original rags in this intermediate-level piano collection capture the style and spirit of this beloved pianistic genre. This collection is perfect for ragtime festivals and competitions, and a great choice for students who are not quite ready for the masterful Scott Joplin rags. 7 solos: County Fair Rag * Courthouse Rag * Easy Does It * Honey Creek Rag * In Fields of Green * Party Line Rag * Prairie School Rag.
