When a reclusive woman is found dead after a catastrophic fire on St Mary's Island in the deepest south of Cornwall, Detective Inspector Marco Ramirez expects a routine arson case. Instead, he discovers an amulet untouched by the flames... and a sudden surge of power that makes the earth shift at his feet.
In the hours that follow, Marco crosses paths with three strangers drawn to the same event:
Jayce; a dependable firefighter with a calm presence, Yi; a sharp, no-nonsense air ambulance doctor, Brandon; an easy-going lifeguard with a bright, disarming charm.
Unexplainable moments. Impossible coincidences. A message that pulls Marco deep beneath London and into a covert division of MI6.
There, he learns the truth: the fire was no accident. The victim guarded something ancient. And Marco - along with the three strangers he keeps colliding with - is part of a long-hidden line of elemental warriors known as Custodians.
To face what's coming, they must find each other. Before the darkness finds them first.
Perfect for fans of queer-led fantasy, supernatural thrillers, and modern magic with heart, Custodians: The Prophecy begins an epic new saga where identity, destiny, and courage collide.
