From the first time you were sent home to "tell your mother what you did" to the earliest schoolyard crush and beyond, this family-oriented collection of stories, told through the eyes of a young boy, rediscovers a time when life revolved around parents and grandparents, neighborhood, school and church. With a near-eidetic memory, author Robert Layton reminds us of the events that shaped our lives. The stories within reflect the youthful curiosities, hopes, fears and passions which molded each of us into the adults we are today.
