This work is a diary in poetic form. It gives a history of one man’s struggle with the two great loves in his life, those being God and his best friend. There are some Christian poems whoever the main thrust is of his undying secret love for her. Etons poetry often has a dark flavor, which he attributes to the fact that his favorite poet was Edger Allan Poe. If you are someone who enjoys a variety of subjects then this may be the book of poetry for you. Contained within its pages are over three hundred individual works and a satire located in the back.
