Many children don't know about life outside of towns and cities. In this book, Janette explores all facets of the countryside to bring it to life for those youngsters. She uses her own passion and knowledge to show how the land is farmed and our food produced. She explains the processes involved to bring our food from the land to our plates. Of course the countryside has much more to offer and Janette looks at the wildlife and plants that surrounds us when we leave the cities behind, helping you to observe the beauty of nature. There are also fun activities that you can enjoy when out in the country, including Janette's true passion, horse-riding. Join Janette as she takes you on a journey Exploring the Countryside.
