God alone is worthy of our worship, love, and obedient faith, Jesus Himself put this in strong, plain words for us in John's Gospel where, in chapter 14 verse 23 He said, "If anyone loves me he will keep my word."
This book is a message from God's Word on this crucial biblical theme: the genuineness of professed faith in Jesus Christ. As the apostle James forcefully declares, true faith, "saving" faith, in Christ is obedient faith shown by deeds of obedience to God's Word.
