Marsh was taking payments from large drug importers in exchange for secure access to US soil. Bob resolved to do whatever it took to expose this immense abuse of power.
He recruited lawyers Emily Sanchez and Ron Rosenberg in his pursuit of the truth and found the help of friends and even strangers along the way.
The blood in Hardball is as much art as it is scientific and realistic. The sex is detailed and profound. It goes far beyond the physical. Baseball is a continuing theme throughout.
Hardball is not just about some massive government conspiracy. It is a legal thriller that boils down to three courageous and quite creative people determined to do what is right.
