About

Nancy's dog, Cody was barking; when she went to get him, she found a body on the side of the road
Linda, a 38-year-old single mom, was injured severely by a hit and run driver. Nancy ran home to call an ambulance and get help.
There are many suspects including the men playing cards and drinking at the Roadhouse, a new man in town whose car is dented and the ex-boyfriend Linda recently kicked out of her home.
Linda's daughter, Brenda, saw her grandfather, Tom, driving drunk in the area Linda was found and thinks he did it.
Handsome Detective, James Jason, better known as JJ is assigned the case and spends a lot of time clearing most of the suspects except Tom. But he has no proof.
Because JJ is fond of Nancy and trusts her instincts; he follows an unlikely lead that she encourages.
Will her lead be helpful or just another dead end?
