The conflict between honor and devotion exists within a lifestyle and culture most Americans are unfamiliar with. The unassuming story of the hero and heroine of this novel unfolds with a request and call to two families whose cultural duty, during a time of most needed sacrifices and unavoidable outcomes, is common yet remarkable. Sacrifice, tragedy, redemption, understanding, and love are the threads that hold it all together.
