If you've ever felt alone in the journey of motherhood, unsure of where to turn, it's time to stop looking to the world for guidance-and seek the one who promises to gently lead you.
Motherhood is busy. Between sleepless nights with newborns, active afternoons with young children, and the challenges of raising teenagers, we often find ourselves letting go of things we once held sacred-including time with God. Biblical writer Sandra Bretschneider understands this struggle full well. But, today, the mom of three has learned not only how to seek God throughout her busy days, but also why doing so is essential to life. In Knowing the Shepherd, she invites you on a four-week study of the many names of God so you, too, can understand how necessary it is to seek his guidance through the ups-and-downs of motherhood.
As you respond to thoughtful prompts and dive into Scripture, continually returning to the promises of Isaiah 40:11, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of the many facets of our one true God. You'll also
• learn twenty unique Hebrew names of God and their significance to your life, • develop a deeper understanding of God's character, • establish and maintain consistent Bible study habits amid the chaos of mothering, and • gain a renewed hope and trust in your all-sufficient Shepherd.
Whatever motherhood looks like for you, and whatever unique challenges you may face, we can all find encouragement when we rest in the character and promises of the one, who is there to guide us every step of the way.
