Lost Hopes

Invisible threads sped to the other end of the earth, across the ocean, connecting the past with the future. Those threads somehow miraculously united two different people from two different continents. During their lives, they experienced amazing and similar events. It is telling about a successful, forty-year-old Russian woman, Alena. Once Alena realized that if a person has any problems their resolution must be sought in childhood events, but she dreamed to live a beautiful life. One day she moved to America, but her stereotypes about the unknown country were based on Hollywood movies, and the reality was far from her dreams. The cultural shock was not bearable, and she struggled to overcome the differences. Finally, she returned back to her beloved Russia for a short time to get some fresh air and restore her lost hopes. However, she was not the one who would be satisfied with what she got there. Therefore, Alena tried again to find her happiness and love, started her new life in the foreign country from point zero, and walked towards her dream again.
