Have you ever woken up to find your tooth still under your pillow? Have you ever missed a visit from the Tooth Fairy? Have you ever had to explain why the Tooth Fairy has gone missing? If so, this picture book which the Kirkus Review described as "A clever, humorous, and joyful tooth story" is for you! Lulu has lost her first tooth and cannot wait for a visit from the tooth fairy. Trixie has been training hard and cannot wait to become an official tooth fairy. All Trixie has to do to achieve her goal is to pick up Lulu's tooth. But when one "tiny" mistake while using the Fairy Positioning System sends Trixie to San Juan, Puerto Rico instead of Lulu's house in San Juan Island, Washington, this sets in motion a series of mishaps that thwart Trixie's efforts. Lulu must choose between keeping the faith or stop believing in magic. And Trixie must do all in her power to pick up Lulu's tooth, or she will never become an official tooth fairy! Will Lulu finally get a visit from the tooth fairy? Wil Trixie finally become an official tooth fairy? Find out in this humorous and heartwarming tale that will encourage your little ones to never stop believing in magic and that everything is possible with a lot of willpower -- a perfect story for children ages 4 - 8. Written in a dual narrative format from the perspective of Lulu and her tooth fairy, Lulu and the Missing Tooth Fairy entertainingly weaves the themes of cause and effect, learning from our mistakes, and trusting in oneself. It also introduces children to different tooth collectors and tooth traditions of the world, thus serving as a mirror and a window into other cultures.
