Every team runs on an operating system. You may not know what yours is.
It's the unwritten rules. How conflict gets handled. Whether people speak up or stay quiet. Whether the mission actually drives decisions or just decorates the wall. That operating system determines everything-performance, retention, morale, results.
This book gives you a better one. Eight habits that function as the core architecture of a high-performing team culture. They came from team expedition racing-a relentlessly tough environment that exposes every weakness in a team's operating system. They've been translated to help leaders and teams in every industry.
You're already running on something. The question is whether it's by accident, or by design, and whether it helps you excel through any challenge. Only one makes winning inevitable.
