You are seen. You are heard. And you are not alone.Motherhood is a beautiful calling, but for many of us, it is a season of profound transition-a journey of pure selflessness where we find ourselves filling everyone else's cup while our own remains empty. We are the first to give and often the last to receive.More Than a Mom is an acknowledgment of the unspoken. It is an honest look at the physical, emotional, and mental weight placed on a mother's shoulders. Without shame or judgment, this book steps into the deep in the trenches moments to validate the woman behind the title.Within these pages, we explore the heart of motherhood together:The Anatomy of Motherhood: Acknowledging the "crumbling skyscraper" and the invisible mental load we carry daily. The Transition of Selflessness: Navigating the depleting nature of giving everything to those around us.A Biblical Foundation: Embracing your true identity and a purpose far greater than what society defines for you.To the unacknowledged and the weary: your position is valuable, your heart is seen, and your identity is secure. It is time to speak the unspoken and find the strength that comes from a higher calling.Your identity is more than a title. It is a divine purpose. Melissa is an author, designer, and the creative force behind Lynnette Photo & Design and the blog The Joyful Little Lamb. With a professional eye for detail and a heart for ministry, she captures the beauty and the unspoken weight of life's transitions through both her lens and her prose. Her work is dedicated to those seeking the heart of their identity behind the many titles they carry. By acknowledging the invisible mental load and the profound seasons of change within a home and a calling, Melissa validates those navigating the daily reality of a selfless life. Her mission is to ensure that those giving their all know they are seen, heard, and held by a divine purpose.A wife and homeschooling mother of five children, she embraces a naturalistic and mindful lifestyle. Whether she is teaching her children, tending to her chickens, serving her community, or ccapturing moments behind her lens, she is a firm believer in the beauty of a heart that learns to "leave it the heck alone" by resting in the peace of Christ- and never failing to RUN to the Lord through every situation.
