After twenty five years of friendship, four women-Evie, Gaby, Laura and Anna- think that no one knows them as well as they know each other. But over one weekend they realise how wrong they were.
Their annual weekend away is a tradition that no one misses. This year, events take place that turn everything upside down. Each has a secret that has changed their lives yet those who are closest to them had no idea. On the Saturday night these secrets are revealed for the first time.
For the main character Evie Gardner, the discovery that her friends have secrets as painful as the one she is carrying around and have each survived those painful events in their lives gives her the courage to start fighting her own battle to find herself.
