Open Wide is the second book of verse written by Enri Vilmos. It is a curious collection of poems on a number of themes that cover the comic, dramatic, and absurd aspects of life. The book deals with subjects from the environment to adventure at sea and sometimes steps back in time to record the antics of minstrels and knights busy at work and play. It is the intention of the poet in this anthology to give an immediate and descriptive portrait on all the topics without laboriously adhering to rhyme and meter. The book Open Wide is another stage in the development of the writer in an effort to find his own voice!
