Remember you are never alone. What you experience has been encountered by others. The stories here are proof. And anytime you feel as though you don't know what to do in life-remember that the ultimate key is perspective.
The poetry contained in orchids & blus explores the layers of love, finding beauty in simplicity, knowing pain as a best friend, and becoming the person you want to be by realizing you are that person right now. In reading this collection of poems, you will discover a new sense of the world and a fresh perspective on life. Born of random tweets, scribbles and memories woven together-this collection asks you to explore layers of love and multifaceted identity. It challenges the reader to lean into life's intense emotions and to experience them in all their flawed splendor.
Jaziyyah's orchids & blus is a must-read for those learning about the world of poetry, seasoned poets looking for a different style, or anyone seeking a new vantage point. This book is here for all readers who simply want to feel connected to words on a page as if they are living stories (because they are).
