Jesus overcame the world so that every believer could be an overcomer. You and I-yes, we-are overcomers. In each of our lives, we face challenges that try to defeat us. These adversities attempt to obscure the truth that we are overcomers. Through journal entries, poems, and words of encouragement, the author details a small snapshot of her testimony and how, through life situations, God opened her eyes of understanding to know that no matter what she faces, she can be confident that she is an overcomer because of Jesus Christ. Christ overcame the world; therefore, because of her faith in Him, His love, and the truth of His Word, she is an overcomer.
