About

Are you worried when you send your kids off to school and into the cruel world? Do you feel helpless to shield them from false beliefs, misinformation, and propaganda? Do you cringe at the thought that your child could be indoctrinated with divisive ideologies? Is it difficult to find rational truth? If so, this eBook was written for parents like you!

It offers a two-week plan that enables Christian parents and others with conservative values to teach their young school-age children a few basic Bible truths at home at the children's level of understanding. By knowing God's unchanging truth, the average young schoolchild can learn to recognize untruths and resist deception.

This plan was created by an experienced elementary school teacher, and it is exceptional in two ways. First, instead of presenting familiar Bible stories, she features original modern-day parables to which kids can easily relate. Second, keenly aware that today's parents are busy and their time limited, she designed a course that is short, simple, and adaptable to any lifestyle. The book has a mere forty-one pages; that's SHORT. And there are just fourteen one-page stories to read aloud-one story for each sitting-followed by a five-minute easygoing conversation about the story. Each sitting normally lasts for fifteen minutes; that's SIMPLE. Immediately following each story page is a "Lesson Plan and Follow-up Activities" page with suggestions for fun projects that parent and child can enjoy if they wish and whenever they wish; that's ADAPTABLE.

By devoting about fifteen minutes daily for a sitting, in fourteen days, parents will have helped their children to better recognize falsehood and to resist efforts meant to deceive. That's a small investment by parents that yields big gains for kids. What's more, parents will surely find comfort in their accomplishment, and, as the old song says, they can "leave their worries on the doorstep" and walk "on the sunny side of the street."
