Fiona "Fee" Parrish relies on no one. Working as a professional photographer has always been her dream, and now that she's finally doing it, nothing is going to stand in her way. Not even the sulky, riveting drummer her new gig requires her to immortalize on film. Mateo "Matty" Vasquez is relied on too much. Between helping care for his family and touring with his band Petal, he doesn't have time for anyone else. Not even the talented and fiercely independent photographer on their crew that keeps pulling his focus. As Petal embarks on their biggest tour to date, the tension between Matty and Fee becomes unavoidable when they (literally) crash into each other, leaving her with a broken wrist and him with a guilty conscience. Both navigating the next phase of their career, Fee will try to prove she can do it all on her own, while Matty is just as determined to keep everything from falling further apart.
