In this deeply personal and soulful book Stewart shares the poems that were his Morning Practice for a period of three years. One poem for every day of the year along with reflective questions. The poems will stir your soul and make you think about things that are present in your world. Careful reading and reflection will put you deeply in touch with the reality of who you are. It will provide the seeds for making changes in your life that will reward you and those around you with a richer life experience.
Sourced from a place of deep meaning these richly layered lyrical poems will reveal wise perspectives and share lessons and principles for living a more examined life. The book’s pentameter reflects the tradition by which wisdom was passed from one generation to the next before the written and printed word existed. If you are seeking answers to the foundational existential questions thoughtful people pursue, you're likely to find deeply personal words that speak to you. The book is designed to make you think. Using it year upon year will keep you in the soup of exploration.
