Poems for Children is a unique book and is illustrated with photography. Poems that children can relate to and easily read. Written in modern language, most children can read the book themselves. Even a second grader can read most of the words. Illustrated with sensitive, beautiful photography. Parents love the expressions and feelings that Vernon captures with photographs. Children's favorite topics are expressed in the poems, which are realistic, original and uplifting. Topics include pirates, friends, dreams, animals and other subjects that children enjoy.
