About
Zhang Renlan, Empress Dowager of the Great Yin Dynasty, finds herself transported 500 years into the future into the body of a woman of the same name in Hong Kong.
In her past life, she had devoted herself body and soul to assisting three generations of emperors. With the imperial line now facing extinction, surely it wouldn't be too much to ask for her to set her sights on becoming empress herself?
Little did she know she would face fierce criticism from civil and military officials alike.
Overnight, her reputation as a virtuous woman was shattered, and she was branded as having "ulterior motives."
But things were different in the 1980s-it was an era that championed gender equality.
Riding the wave of the times, opportunities were everywhere.
First, she helped a wayward heiress punch a professor who had sexually assaulted her;
then she helped a housewife-who spent her days raising children and had no social standing-kick her despicable husband to the curb;
a domineering second wife had left her mother disabled, seized the company's shares, and her spoiled younger sister had even stolen the protagonist's arranged marriage...
She dealt with them all, one by one!
