This is the first book in the Pump Wizards series: a fantasy story about wizards stealing cars and making bad decisions. Kitten left his old life as an Aristo and fourth in line for the throne. In the Dutchy, he found music, friends and magic. Kitten risks his life to become a wizard, and he's never been happier. Until the Ministry of Intelligence agent tells him he'll be deported if he doesn't produce the heir to the Crown Lands. The Prince had slipped out of rehab and moved to the Duchy so he could enjoy the night life and chemicals without supervision. Kitten isn't the only one who wants the Prince. The cops are looking, eager to get a promotion. The Crown Lands' secretive snatch squad is putting up posters offering a reward. Kitten finds the Prince. While waiting for the intelligence agent to claim the Prince, the snatch squad blows down the doors. With both of them wounded, they find refuge in a hospital run by a local criminal organization. Kitten gets a call from his Crown Lands ex-girlfriend. She's in town running the snatch squads and wants to talk.
