In a world shattered and forsaken by the Gods after a disastrous war that took place over a century in the past, a nameless boy awakens in the iron grip of a ruthless cult. Stripped of his past, he is beaten and molded into a faceless soldier-a Cog. Haunted by a sliver of humanity that still resides within him, he resigns himself to isolation until he meets a foreign girl who shares in his defect and slowly breaks down the walls he has formed to protect himself. Finding others that are like them, a dangerous hope is ignited to escape the militarized compound they reside in and finally taste freedom. The path forward is marred with blood and suffering. Will they be able to pay the price required, or will their souls be plunged into an even deeper abyss? Who am I? I am a simple man who enjoys reading, writing, good food, games, and recently, drawing. Outside of my work, I spend quite a good amount of time with family and friends. There is only so much time we have in the world with them, so I like to make the most of it. This is also a large part of why I prefer to keep my identity as hidden as possible. As of now, I enjoy my peaceful day-to-day life. Money is always a concern, as I very much would like to expand my projects, but I've never been willing to compromise on my vision for any amount. As such, I've chosen to publish this work myself and do... Well, just about everything myself. As you might be able to tell, I'm rather stubborn and passionate about my creative vision being carried out exactly as I want it to. I'm constantly looking for ways to increase my readership and overall connect with those who read my work. Never feel intimidated to come and say hello to me on social media or via e-mail on my website! I'm grateful for every new fan that I get, and I hope to be able to continue this passion until the day I leave this world. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and enjoy my work - Anemyre
