"Romantic Hallucinations!" is a collection of poems on myriad topics one experiences at one or other point in life! In one the poems, the poetess talks about the subtle sexual harassment women face in the workplace in the corporate world! Ms.Sujata tries to throw light on many other mundane aspects of life as and when she has seen or experienced these incidents! A few poems talk about romance, love and friendships! While there are a few write-ups talking about nature's fury and beauty too. She has also thrown light on the possibilities of emotional intimacies developing in a workplace and the emotional damages it can have on the employee's emotional health and psyche!! There are a few poems which talk of cultural dichotomies in India that favour men rather than women! Readers can feel connected to her poems as she writes about varied life situations! Viz, her very first poem, "Romantic Hallucinations!" talks of the romantic confusions a woman might go through if she somehow ends up crossing pathways with her ex lover in this world of high connectivity and social media!! It's certainly going to be difficult to handle if the past that she has somehow tried to forget and move on crosses pathways unexpectedly!! You could still be in love with the person or even hate their guts. But no matter how you feel about it, running into an ex will always leave you with awkward moments, nostalgia, and hopes of second chances... she may not want to let the world know of it but certainly she is bound to go through a surge of emotions and wonder what if things were handled differently!!! With this collection of poems, the author has unsheathed her hidden emotions for the world to read and inundate the book with much love and adulations! Now is the turn for her readers to devour her writings and let her know what they feel about her works! The author is quite excited as she presents this book to her readers and promises to match the tastes of her readers!
