Are you silently bearing the weight of an abortion? Feeling burdened by shame and regret, and convinced that revealing your secret would lead to rejection? Do you believe that God will never use you again?
Secret Scars is for Christian women who have secretly carried the burden of an abortion, trapped in shame and regret. This book guides you from hidden pain to God-glorifying purpose.
Sharing her own testimony of her abortion, Lesley will walk you through a journey of biblically transforming shame, regret and the belief that you can't be used by God. Seeing how God has used her own abortion for His glory, she's deeply passionate about helping other women who are where she was decades ago.
Transformation begins by addressing the shame that has kept you in the shadows. It teaches you that grieving the loss deeply is essential. It confronts the myriad emotions that surface and how God's truth can help you deal with them.
It dives into God's forgiveness and how to break free from self-forgiveness. We'll unpack the riches of our unfathomable God by mediating on His mercy, grace, and love. It will deepen your understanding of who He is and His desire to redeem your story.
Finally, you'll see how to use your past pain for God's glory. Secret Scars is an invitation to experience God's healing power and to see how He can transform your deepest wounds into a testimony of His grace. You can go from feeling unclean to being useful.
