About
My only goal is to reach Heaven's shore
Where earthly things will bother me no more.
I'll wander those streets paved with gold
And meet with prophets from days of old.
God will smile and take my hand
And lead me through this promised land.
Heaven's the place I want to be,
Praising God through all eternity.
In a compilation inspired by the word of God and friendship, Elouise Miller Hollenbaugh shares poems intended to comfort or cheer anyone needing to be lifted in their spiritual journey.
Within diverse free verse, Hollenbaugh begins by reflecting on the influence of Jesus in Christmas celebrations and exploring Christian beliefs. Included are five-line cinquains and other poems that follow the same inspirational theme while encouraging others to invite the Lord into their lives, shun Satan, practice gratitude with every sunrise, and love everyone despite our differences.
Solace is a touching volume of poems inspired by biblical scripture that shares a Christian's view of the divine and God's influence on the world around her.
