Professor David Touster, an ambitious young geneticist, believes that the DNA in every human cell is embedded with a "God code." His research aims to uncover these genes and show how they tempt each one of us to pursue a spiritual connection. Unexpectedly, Special Agent Boyd Easton interrupts Dr. Touster's ambitions and demands that he refocus his expertise in order to help solve a cold case. Fifteen years earlier, between the winter of 2020 and the spring of 2021, a kidnapper meticulously plucked four babies from their families. The FBI remained clueless as to why, and now, in 2035, those stolen teenagers have come of age armed with nature's most powerful gifts: superior genetics. Agent Easton fears a sinister plot in which the weaponization of those gifts may not only threaten national security but also bring about global peril. What follows is a thrilling tale in which the worlds of science, astrology, and religion entwine, shedding light upon the origin of our species, our drives, and our spiritual destiny. With little time and perilous stakes, Dr. Touster wonders whether the same "Genesis Genes" that he thought he had put aside may prove to be the necessary ingredient for human survival.
