How far would you go to save your best friends life? Standing outside of the courthouse, journalist Andrea Kellner witnesses an apparent carjacking that leaves a judge dead in the middle of downtown Chicago. The victim offers up his vehicle, but the brazen masked shooters kill him anyway and flee. While the police see this as a straightforward crime of greed, Andrea's instincts urge her to investigate learning the nearly bankrupt judge owed a huge debt to a commercial paving company. When a second judge is also murdered nearby, and Andrea's best friend becomes the target of a social media troll, she must work around her detective boyfriend, link the cases, and untangle the complex web of intersecting men to save her friend. Can Andrea expose the killers before her dearest friend becomes the third victim? The Liar's Code is the fifth thrilling novel in the Andrea Kellner mystery series. If you like complex plots and smart, gutsy, crime-solving women, you'll love Dana Killion's page-turning series.
