A novel of guilt, redemption and loss of faith. The day after passing his driving test, Ross Collins causes an accident in which another driver is killed. Distraught and consumed by guilt, he enrols on the Alpha Course, hoping to find redemption in Christianity. There he encounters "Omega" Bee, a theology student whose faith is crumbling. She gives him an alternative Omega Course that offers a very different perspective and takes Ross on a journey deep into the origins of Judaism, Christianity and the Bible. Torn between Alpha and Omega, Ross doesn't know which way to turn. But how can any of this help him to come to terms with what he has done?
