About
A rake running from his past...
Brennan Carr's Grand Tour has lead him to a remote fishing village in Greece where the sun is hot, the work is satisfying and the women plentiful. He quickly charms the residents, and their daughters...but the village fathers are putting pressure on him to choose a bride. Brennan doesn't want to leave the one place he feels he can be himself, but he doesn't want to settle down either.
Widow Patra Tspiras has no intentions of marrying again, despite the matchmaking efforts of her friends, and Brennan devises a plan that could benefit them both. If they can convince the village he is genuinely interested in her, even sincerely courting her, it would save them both the hassle of fending off unwanted suitors. Soon, their pretend affair becomes all too real, and their flirtation turns into something deeper. But Patra hides a secret that places them both in danger.
Can Brennan win her heart and give them the future they both secretly desire?
