Very few people have ever said no to Christopher Thorpe, a trust-fund baby turned billionaire, except for his childhood best friend, Kayla Martin, who faces plenty of her own demons. But when he offers his hand in marriage, she sees another path for her life--albeit, a loveless one--and all she has to do is say, "Yes." That is, until David Wolfe, builder-by-day and artist-by-night, walks into her father's operating room and sets off a kaleidoscopic chain of events that puts everyone on notice. Set in the '90s, Tiger Stripes features a cast of unlikely characters that explode onto the scene with tangling desires and the nerve to do whatever it takes to get what they want. Who will survive? Who will perish? Those that remain will emerge knowing their own set of tiger stripes.
