About

Breaking the Hold of Persistent Bondage to Discover Lasting Freedom in Christ
Four years after his salvation, Eli Yoder was preaching freedom while secretly still bound by the same chains he thought Jesus had already broken. The night he showed up drunk to his son's football game, he was forced to confront a question that would shape his ministry: If he was truly saved, why was he still bound?
In Unbound, Eli shares his unvarnished account of what happens after the altar, when addiction, fear, worry, and shame don't vanish the moment you believe. This is a raw look at the private battles many Christians fight in silence and the biblical truths that finally led Eli to an enduring freedom that willpower and good intentions could never provide.
While Eli's testimony includes his own struggles with alcohol and pornography, he makes clear that bondage wears many faces. Fear. Anxiety. Secrecy. Worry that won't let you sleep. His story encourages anyone still fighting the same battle they were fighting the day they were saved.
Join Eli as he walks through the fall, the repentance, and the road to freedom. Not just a once-and-done event, but as an ongoing way of life in Christ. This is not a manual on how to stay sober; it's a call to bring every hidden thing into the light and live truly unbound.
Eli Yoder grew up in an Old-Order Amish community in Hardin County, Ohio, where strict traditions shaped every aspect of his life. At eighteen, he left the Amish community to seek freedom from the oppressive rules he had known since childhood. Now living in Waynesfield, Ohio, with his wife Nikki and their son Johnathan, Eli is still known as "the preaching truck driver," though he's now delivering the Good News instead of freight. He shares heartfelt Bible teaching in person and on social media, focusing on helping others break free from religious legalism, hidden bondage, and the lie that freedom in Christ is instant rather than a daily walk.
